Two very powerful engines plus a hybrid in the new 2019 Toyota Camry
The new 2019 Toyota Camry really has a lot to offer, starting with its impressive selection of engines. The new Camry does offer a wide selection of models and versions, but also two of the most powerful engines in the segment.
We’re thinking here of the new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is standard on the new Camry. Offering 203 horsepower, this is the only entry-level engine in the class to offer more than 200 horsepower. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that provides a more than reasonable fuel economy rating of 8.1 liters per 100 kilometers. You will not find better in this segment.
The other option is an even more powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine developing 301 horsepower. This engine is available in the XLE V6 and XSE V6 versions. Again, impossible to find more powerful in this segment.
The new Camry also offers a hybrid model that offers 176 horsepower, but more importantly a very impressive fuel economy rating of 5.3 liters per 100 kilometers. For such a spacious sedan with so many luxury features, it is remarkable to be able to get such an impressive fuel economy rating.
Behind the wheel of the new Camry, the road becomes your best friend no matter what state it is in. The comfort of the Toyota mid-size sedan is impressive, but its dynamic road handling is even more so. Come and discover the new Toyota mid-size sedan today!
