Toyota has announced the pricing details for its new 2024 Grand Highlander lineup, with three trims and as many powertrain options to cater to varying preferences of motorists. This range offers a variety of performance and efficiency figures, ensuring that the Grand Highlander caters to a broad array of driving needs and tastes.
The XLE grade, both in gas and hybrid, starts at an MSRP of $50,490 and $53,790, respectively. This grade comes with an impressive array of features, including 18" Alloy Wheels, a SofTex-trimmed interior, a 12.3” Touchscreen, and a suite of safety and convenience features such as TSS 3.0, Blind Spot Monitor, and Power Liftgate. Not to mention, the interior of the XLE variant is available in a black SofTex trim.
Moving a notch up, the Limited grade in gas and hybrid forms will cost you $57,690 and $61,190, respectively. With 20" Alloy Wheels, a Panoramic Moonroof, a 12.3" Premium Multimedia setup, and leather-trimmed seating in black, this trim level raises the bar of luxury and convenience. Safety enhancements such as Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automated Braking also get thrown into the mix.
The highest trim level, the Platinum Hybrid MAX, is priced at $65,450 MSRP. This variant comes with heated and ventilated 2nd-row seats, a head-up display, and a digital rearview mirror, to name a few. This trim level also includes an Ultrasuede and leather-trim interior available in Portobello or black.
Performance-wise, Toyota offers a powerful lineup with the gas engine boasting 265 horsepower, the hybrid powertrain delivering 243 horsepower, and the Hybrid MAX powertrain topping the range with 362 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, marking the Grand Highlander as the most powerful Midsize SUV Toyota has ever built.
The gas powertrain offers a combined fuel consumption of 10.0 L/100 km, whereas the hybrid and Hybrid MAX powertrains are more efficient at 7.0 L/100 km and 8.8 L/100 km, respectively. All powertrains include three Drive Modes (Sport, Eco, Normal), and the gas AWD and Hybrid MAX powertrains include the Multi-Terrain Select with three modes (Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow) for enhanced off-road capabilities.
This plethora of options in terms of pricing, performance, and features makes the 2024 Grand Highlander an intriguing option for prospective SUV buyers. With Toyota’s reputation for reliability, the 2024 Grand Highlander is poised to make a significant impact on the midsize SUV market.
