The always-evolving RAV4 continues to lead the compact crossover segment with innovation, capability, efficiency, versatility and more. The entire model lineup is special from the start, and that includes the LE FWD. Here, we talk about how the LE leads the charge for an iconic crossover.
The 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE isn't your typical base model
Many automakers strip down their base models to make it easier to upsell customers to higher grades. That just isn't the case with the LE.
Upon entering the LE, you will notice standard heated front seats. Covered with premium cloth materials, the seats provide a great feel as you sink in. The 1,040 mm of available leg room helps you stretch out and restore until the trip is over.
A standard infotainment touchscreen system surrounds the cabin with six speakers that deliver clear sound from Apple CarPlay- and Android Auto-compatible technology and more.
The rear seats offer up to three-passenger seating. And if you haul a few less passengers, the 60/40 rear seats fold down and flex the available (max) 1,977 mm of cargo volume.
The 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE is surrounded by safety
Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert begin the long list of safety features on the LE.
Each LE model is packed with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This advanced driver assistance system includes Lane Tracing Assist, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Bicycle Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection, Auto High Beam, and Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.
The LE also has Smart Stop Technology, Vehicle Stability Control, Anti-Lock Brakes, Traction Control, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, and Brake Assist.
The 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE goes far on less
With a 203-horsepower 4-cylinder engine, the LE takes on the road with plenty of power. This is achieved with outstanding efficiency for its segment, achieving a fuel consumption rating of 8.8 L/100 km in the city and 6.8 L/100 km on the highway.
In the end, the RAV4 LE FWD may be a base model, but it carries everything the brand stands for in terms of reliability and performance. There is even more to discover with the 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE.
